South African left-arm spinner Keshav Maharaj, expressing his heartfelt sentiments, conveyed warm 'Jai Shri Ram' wishes to the Indian community in South Africa on the occasion of the Ram Mandir 'Pran Pratistha' ceremony in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. In a video shared on his social media handle, Maharaj, a Hindu by birth, emphasized his wish for peace and harmony through spiritual enlightenment.

Currently leading the Durban Super Giants SA T20, Maharaj has been in the spotlight for the 'Ram Siya Ram' song played during Test matches and ODIs in India's tour of South Africa. The 33-year-old cricketer sees it as a gesture of gratitude to God, stating, "For me, God has been my greatest blessing, giving me guidance and opportunity."
